My husband and I are so completely and utterly grateful that we found Engel Photographic. We can't even begin to put into words how much we are in love with our engagement and wedding photos. The moment we came across Engel Photographic we knew Jake was our photographer. From the start, Jake was very prompt with responding to emails and extremely detailed in all of his processes, explanations, paperwork, etc.. After meeting Jake in person and seeing his incredible work in person, we instantly booked him.

Shortly after, we booked a date for our engagement photoshoot. We loved how Jake had us "lead the way," in a sense, with our vision and ideas, but used his knowledge and creativity to make the pictures impeccable. We were completely blown away at the beauty that Jake captured in our engagement photos and we received SO, SO many compliments. All of our friends and family were just as blown away as we were and we even had a friend book Jake for their wedding after seeing our gorgeous engagement session.

In the months between the engagement shoot and wedding, Jake was easily accessible through email and he always kept us updated throughout the process. If I found a picture or had an idea for a picture, Jake was completely up to my ideas and went through each idea to get a vision of exactly what I wanted. The month before the wedding, Jake met with us a final time and walked us through our entire wedding day timeline, discussed the pictures and moments we absolutely had to have captured, and had us lay out our ideas and plans on a sheet to make sure that everything was in line and perfectly in order for our big day. This helped us feel even more relaxed and grateful to have him.

Our wedding day, from start to finish, was captured to perfection. Jake is a true professional and it was a joy having his wife, Steph, assist him for our big day. Steph made sure that my dress wasn't wrinkled or out of focus for all of the photographs, and she gave advice and assistance at all of the perfect times. All of the shots I wanted to recreate were captured--and Jake's vision made them even better than I could have imagined. Our family could not stop talking about how amazing our photographer was. We are still blown away by the beauty of our pictures and how much we adore Jake and Steph, and we will cherish the memories and photographs forever and ever. We truly could not have asked for more. We have been, and will continue to recommend Engel Photographic to everyone we know, and look forward to having another event that he can capture. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
